Huoma is a chair designed to support concentration, particularly for individuals with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). The chair's design and materials aim to reduce the physical stress caused by over- or under-stimulation often associated with ADHD. Grounded in ADHD research, the design addresses difficulties in regulating and processing sensory information, while also accommodating the need for self-stimulating behaviors.
           The concept of the design was to create a soft, nest-like seat that offers a sense of calm. Huoma can be adjusted to three different positions, providing support for relaxation, movement, and varied postures to meet the user’s needs. The seat features an inner cushion and base fabric made entirely from recycled cotton, combining comfort with sustainable design.
